The Better Story Podcast

The world is loud, and much of it is frightening. Jesus told us two things about days like these: do not be deceived, and do not be afraid. This is a podcast for people who want both — clear eyes about what is actually coming, and real hope in the One who is coming.
Why this message
In a world scrambling for hope and finding very little, there is Hope — but it is found only in the real Jesus, and in who He claims to be. Everything here comes back to three questions.
Who is Jesus?
Why did He come?
What does His return mean for the world?
Untangling crazy from reality in the Scriptures — so that we can help others understand what it means to be barreling toward the day of the Lord, and why believers of all people have reason to hope.
Who we are
Live Maranatha Ministries exists to equip everyday disciples to live in the light of the return of Jesus — and to make disciples out of love for Him.
We are not planting a church here. We are building the kind of thing a church needs: teaching, conversation, and fellowship gathered around the Blessed Hope. That happens with real people in Chattanooga, and through The Better Story Podcast well outside our own region.
Chris Manley is an evangelist with the Presbytery of the Southeast (EPC) and, with his wife Elizabeth, has served as field staff with InFaith since 2023. They have been married since 2004 and have five children.
